Job Summary:
Responsible for creating and writing internal and external documentation and communications, including but not limited to, policies and procedures, client requests for
information/proposal, training materials, sales materials, how:to:guides, reference manuals, and step:by:step system or workflow instructions.

Job Qualifications:
:2:4 years proven working experience in technical writing
:Ability to deliver high quality, professional documentation (samples required)
:Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to the reader
:Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
:Familiarity with video and web applications for tutorial purposes (Camtasia and Storyline a plus)
:Bachelors degree in related area or equivalent preferred
:Knowledge of financial
services/settlement services/valuation industry
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
:Meet with staff, customer representatives, and/or vendors to establish internal and external documentation
:Create documentation in a variety of media, including procedures, video training modules, how:to guides and instruction manuals
:Offer technical direction on product announcements, marketing brochures, advertisements, marketing specifications
:Offer support to all departments in the completion of client requests for information or requests for proposal
:Manage the internal document library as directed by your immediate manager
:Maintain a logical method of naming and versioning documentation
:In establishing documentation, the employee must:
:Ensure material flows in logical sequence
:Write clearly and concisely so that the reader can easily ingest the material
:Create a table of contents and cite sources, when necessary
:Add disclaimers and confidentiality notices to protect LRES and its assets
:Prepare charts, graphs, or forms to accompany written material
:Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to ensure completed material is comprehensive
:Consult with internal parties and subject matter experts to validate content
:Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling
:Release the document through proper approval and distribution channels
:Provide updates and different editions as necessary and as content changes
:Other responsibilities as set forth by your immediate manager and/or executive sponsor
Working Conditions:
:Working environment is indoor, reasonably ventilated, reasonably clean and well lighted
:Generally little or no probability of injury or health impairment
Physical Requirements:
:Ability to sit and use your hands and fingers to work at a computer station
:Ability to hear and speak on the phone
:Lift, move, or carry boxes of marketing materials up to but not limited to 5 lbs.
